Texas.

He was elected Governor of Texas on November 8, 1994 and
re-elected on November 3, 1998.

He was inaugurated as President of the United States on January
20, 2001.

conservative who shapes policy based on the principles of limited government,
personal responsibility, strong families, and local control.

His presidency has been focused on the War on Terrorism after
America was attacked on September 11, 2001.

President of the United States. George W. Bush lost by 539,897 votes in
the popular vote count but won the electoral count. He won the state
of Florida's 25 electoral votes..and the presidency... by 537 votes. This
is considered the closest election for president in the history of our
