WARTS

• To get rid of warts, stand in the light of a full moon and rub the wart.

• Use a dead hand to stroke the wart.

• Steal raw beef, tie it to the wart, leave it overnight, and in the morning bury the beef.  As the beef decays, the wart fades until nothing is left.

• Rub bean pod on wart, then bury the bean pod under an ash tree while chanting:  "At this the bean shall rot away, so my wart shall soon decay."  Do this only at night and do it secretly.

• Take a piece of string and tie as many knots as you have warts to get rid of.  Touch each wart to a different knot then put the string in place where it will be sure to decay.  As the string decays the warts will fade away.

• If you should handle toads, you will get warts.

• Rub a grain of barley on the wart and then serve the barley to a chicken and the wart will go away.
