There are a variety of different sports  that are played in Pearl River. Sunday Baseball was one of the most popular sports played there. There were some superb teams that have played in years gone by. Basketball was popular… and still is. The games would attract as many spectators as the stands could hold. Bowling is not terribly popular anymore, although it was at one time popular. Tennis was also once a well-liked sport that faded over the years. Previously, there were large courts at the Unique Club House on South Pearl River St. At one time Hunting and Fishing clubs existed, but did not last for long.
