Good vs. Evil

•    Meg, Charles Wallace, Calvin, Mr. Murry, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which are fighting the Dark Thing which is trying to take over the minds of all the living things in the Universe

•    Meg, Charles Wallace, Calvin, and Mr. Murry are people from earth

•   Mrs. Whatsit was star that gave their life to defeat the Dark thing

•    IT is evil and a humongous brain and controls everything at Camazotz, a dark planet               

A Time for Courage

•    Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace have to prepare to go on a journey to mysterious places in order to rescue their father from the forces of evil

•    On their way, they encounter many bizarre creatures and have to past tests in order to get to their father

•    Meg also has to gather her wits when she is sent to rescue Charles Wallace from IT all alone and has no idea what she could do

        The Coming of Age

•    Meg, Calvin and Charles Wallace experience some things that takes courage to get through and learn things that they didn’t know before on their journey  

• Though some people think Charles Wallace is dumb, he is improving on vocabulary
