Richie
Hi. My name is Richie. I attend the Pearl River Middle School and I
am eleven-years-old in sixth grade. I
was born on August 30. I have two
cats and I play five sports all year long.
So far this year, I am an A student.
In the summer I go to a sleep away camp called Surprise Lake Camp. In
this contest, my part is the entertainment of the future house. I have studied different types of future
televisions, radios, and stereos. I
have enjoyed this contest because I have learned many new things about my topic
and the computer.
Julia

name is Julia and I’m 11 years old.
My birthday is August 27th.
I have brown hair and brown eyes.
I have 1 younger sister who is 6 years old. I live in Pearl River on a dead end street. I go the to Pearl River school
district. My hobbies are acting,
reading, writing, drawing, and singing.
My favorite book is Mandy by my favorite writer and actress, Julie
Andrews. My favorite show is the Dick
Van Dyke show. My favorite foods are
tacos with meat and cheese in them, and steak.
My favorite color is purple and my room is painted that colors. My room has cats stenciled above my
bed. I have a cat named Oreo and two
lizards named Rocky Road and Greased Lightning, but I call them Rocky and
Lightning. Oh yeah, I call my cat Cutie
and Ors. My favorite thing about this
project was writing about Appliances.
Brittany
Hello, my name is Brittany and I go to the Pearl River Middle School. I am twelve years old and I am in the sixth grade. My birthday is January 1. I was born in Good Samaritan Hospital. I live in Pearl River with my parents and my two sisters, Kristina and Kaity. My sisters also attend Pearl River School Districts. Kaity goes to Evans Park Elementary and Kristina goes to Pearl River High School. My hobbies include mainly just sports and school. I am a good consensus student. Some of my favorite sports are basketball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, track, and soccer. Right now I don’t play lacrosse or track because our school does not have a sports program for those sports at this age. I expect to play them next year if I make the team.
At first when our teacher assigned this project I thought
great another research project but it is a lot more then that. One of the most
fun parts was when we got to interview the architect. We are learning all these
things that I we never knew before. My and a group of my classmates are doing
future houses. Sometimes this project gets really frustrating because we cannot
find the information that we need. This project at some times can be really
challenging but if it was not than we would not be doing it in this class! I
have really enjoyed doing this project, I have learned so many more new
things.
Maren
My name is Maren and
I am 12 years old. I was born in The Bronx in New York City on March 4. I have
brother and a sister. My brother’s name is Dale. My sister’s name is Sunny.
They both go to a private boarding high school called The Peddie School. Even
though I go to Pearl River Middle School and in the 6th grade, I
hope to get accepted also. My hobbies are singing, acting, dancing, watching The
Simpsons and performing on stage. I am also an expert at fencing. My best friend is Alyssa
DeGregory. She also goes to my school. We hope to both get into Peddie so we
won’t miss each other for a minute!
I have a dog named Judy
and two cats named Ben and Jerry. We are training Judy to be a seeing eye dog.
After two whole years, we give the dog to the company and then they give it to
a blind person in need. We just got her about a week ago. She is a tiny little
puppy! I used to have a dog named Riesen. Sadly, we needed to put her to sleep.
She had a brain tumor. Riesen was the best dog in the whole world. *Sniffle,
Choke, Sniffle* Anyway, My favorite food is Brushcetta. Although I am 100%
British, I just LOVE Italian food! My favorite animal is of course the dog.
I have a very exciting life. (I also intend to be queen of the world one day.) HeHeHe! Just kidding!
Krissy
Hi, my name is Krissy and I am a student at Pearl River Middle School. I am 12 years old I am a student in 6th grade. My birthday is January 21. I live with my parents, Jack and Ann Marie, my brother, John and my pets. I have a dog and a rabbit. I like to snowboard, swim, paint, roller blade, go dogsledding, cheer for the Orange town on the Patriots and softball. I love to dance and hang out with my friends in town. My favorite sports include softball, soccer, football, track, swim team, winter Olympic sports. In school I am in a class for students to expand their intelligence to a higher level then other students their age, this class is called challenge. This year we are working on a project that includes houses in the future. We have studied all kinds of futuristic houses, furniture, the layout of a house, building a house, appliances, and communication. I hope that I learn more about future houses.

Hi! My name is Marina. My family consists of my mom, my grandma and my two brothers. I am eleven and I am in sixth grade in Pearl River Middle School. I find pleasure in reading, playing tennis and playing violin. In school, I participate in the drama club and was in the Talent Show last year. My weekends are spent going to art class, piano lessons and Chinese school. I created the pages called Building Materials and The Tsui House on this web site.

Hello! My name is Matt. I am a 6th grade
student at Pearl River Middle School. I
am 11 years old and my birthday is on October 12th. I worked on the Future House project with my
classmates. I enjoy playing football,
basketball, baseball and I love going snowmobiling upstate. I also like playing Playstation2 and
watching TV. My favorite sports are
snowboarding, basketball, baseball, football, BMX biking, and
skateboarding. I have only been out of
the country once and that was to Cancun, Mexico. But I have also gone on vacation to Florida 2 times, South Carolina
5 times, Ocean City, Maryland 2 times and Maine 4 times. My parents also own a house in upstate New
York and we go there about once or twice every month. I really enjoyed working on this project. I loved researching about future houses on
the Internet.

Hi. My name is Eric. I’m 11 years old and I go to Pearl River Middle School. I have 2
siblings, Kirsten and Casey. My Mom, Susan, is a Teacher. My Dad, Danny, is a
Security guard in a building in NYC. My hobbies are soccer, horseback riding,
Basketball, Baseball, Golf and swimming. I also play the piano. I’m in the
drama club and was in many musicals and other plays. My Birthday is on July 15.
In this project I’m in Future Home. I really enjoyed working on this project.
