High Definition
Television
You may think that when
television got color, that that was the biggest change to ever happen in
television. You are wrong. The new type of Digital TV called High Definition Television
will be an even bigger change than that! This
change is so big that the government has said that in 2006 every television and
television channel must have HDTV.
HDTV stands for High Definition Television.
High Definition Television is the highest form of Digital TV.
It delivers crystal-clear pictures that look three-dimensional.
HDTV is like watching a thirty-five mm movie or six-teen by nine screens
in better color with CD quality six-channel surround sound.
HDTV will be like being in a movie theater or even better, especially
with the home theater uses. I for
one think that it will be to good to be true, but it looks like it’s going to
happen.
