Refrigerator of the Future

Appliances will play a big role in the future. Through this touch pad you can go on the Internet and order food on-line.  You could also check the weather or surf the web.  You can e-mail and even video-mail people. 

The fridge will play a big role in the future.  The refrigerator will change tremendously.  Let’s say you’re at your job and you are really hungry.  You could go on you’re P.C. at the office and see what is in the fridge.  The fridge will suggest some meals.  Let’s say one of them is tuna casserole.  You think that sounds really good, but the fridge says you are out of tuna.  No problem, you e-mail a shopping list to your spouse’s cell phone.  That’s not all; with another click on your P.C. you can pre heat the oven so you don’t have to wait when you get home.  That would definitely change my life style.

            The fridge will have a cookbook with hundreds of recipes.  Also, if you want another recipe, you can look one up on the Internet.  Cool, you could have a different dinner every night.

            Thanks to a Japanese company, a touch panel will control the fridge.  The touch panel will be embedded in the door.

That will definitely assure parents that their kids are safe if they are at home alone.  Another thing that will make people safe is that the fridge has a monitor.  It can check the front door, or the baby asleep in the crib or even your six year old in the back yard. 

            Instead of getting a bulky TV set installed, you could watch the TV on the fridge.  So if you are really tired in the morning you can make yourself a cup of coffee and watch the fridge.  (Doesn’t that sound weird?)

            This fridge will definitely make a difference in life.
