What are the symptoms of Autism?
You can tell that a child has Autism because he/she will have an extremely difficult time communicating. They also will repeat words and phrases over and over again, lack eye contact, and fixate on inanimate objects. They will also resist changes in their daily routines, have unmotivated tantrums, insensitivity to pain, and the inability to verbally express their needs and wants. (For example, an autistic child might say 'You want a water glass' when he/she is thirsty and wants a drink). They may also have sensory impairment( sensitivity in sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste). These symptoms usually start to appear at the age of about thirty months.
