Have you ever seen a person with Down's Syndrome before? You may notice that they almost always seem to be in a good mood. Or you may notice an epicanthal eye fold. They also have some other traits such as low set ears, poor muscle tone, small head, short necks, wide/broad feet, stubby toes and fingers, the bridge of their nose is flat, and they usually have visual problems. Due to these visual problems, many people with Down's Syndrome will have to wear glasses. Since they have poor muscle tone, as they get older, they become a little heavy. 1/3 of kids that have Down's  Syndrome are born with heart defects. One thing that many people see is that people with Down's Syndrome have a small oral cavities, which causes their tongue to stick out and they also drool a lot. People with Down's Syndrome may experience a mild hearing loss and have a high pitched cry. Overall, children with Down's Syndrome develop at a slower rate. (The picture below is showing the lower set ear on a child with Down Syndrome.)
