Jupiter

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. It is completely gas and looks like a bright star when visible from Earth. The gasses on Jupiter is mostly hydrogen and helium, and inside is it a liquid. It spins on its axis really quickly, and it ‘day’ is less than 10 hours. It looks ‘fatter’ at the equator because of the high speed it spins at. Probably the most famous aspect of Jupiter is the GREAT RED SPOT! This spot is thought to be a huge storm on Jupiter’s surface. Jupiter has 16 moons, the four most famous, discovered by Galileo are Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Jupiter also has very small rings, barely visible. It will be really hard is man ever tries to explore.
