Nuclear Match Up

How could one of the smallest particles change the world?  How did the atom, what everything is made of, revolutionize the world?  The following site tells how.  It all started in 1945 when the Americans dropped an atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  The atom bomb started the nuclear age.  Soon the U.S. had over ten of these devastating bombs.  In the 1950's the cold war had begun.  The U.S. made underground buildings with huge ten foot thick walls for the president if Russia dropped a A-bomb on the U.S.  The U.S. also made over 400 more A-bombs.  The cold war ended with out a single bomb dropped or bullet shot.  Now the U.S. uses nuclear for submarines and for nuclear power plants.  Our site explores the area of nuclear power plants.  Here you can learn everything you ever needed to know about nuclear power plants.
