Snowboarding
The place where snowboarding took place for the Winter Olympics in 2002 was called Park City Mountain. For snowboarding events, the equipment that you need are red and blue flags and mainly a snowboard. The course has to be hard with lots of hills and turns. The difference between the downhill skiing course and the regular snowboarding course is that the downhill skiing course is more on an incline. You try to go in between the flags in the fastest time. Snowboarding was first invented in 1965. The idea was from an inventor called Sherman Poppen.
