Living Rooms

"Why is a living room called a living room?" you ask. Well a living room was not always called a living room. It used to be called a drawing room a long time ago. It was used then as a room for men to sit and chat about money and other things. Later it was called a parlor. The parlor was used for tea time and was decorated completely different. The parlor was also used for stiff sittings. That means that when one was inside the room they were on best behavior. After that they changed it once again and called it the living room. The lifestyles have changed to much more comfortable styles. The living room is now a scene of entertainment.
Some activities that are done in the living room are listening to music, watching TVs., and reading. Most of these activities are done when one is sitting in chairs. Therefore sofas and chairs are an important materials in a living rooms. Where you place these materials are very important. Also the living rooms should be set up for chatting with guests. Before you design one then you need to determine all the purposes.
Have you ever wanted to express your overall mood in a room? Well if so than the living room is the room you want to design. When you design a living room, the largest thing you want to put in consideration is the style and mood. Designing a living room is all about suiting the mood and style and purpose.
