The living room has the most upholstered furniture than any other room in a house. The fabrics are very important in a living room. The fabrics make the living room comfortable. When you design the living room you want to use lovely fabrics. Velvet and silk are some fabrics you'd want to keep in mind. they feel great and they look nice, but polished wool and cotton look and feel just as nice. Sometimes people even use both of types of fabrics. reupholstered furniture is expensive but it last much longer and looks better than cheap stuff.
Curtains
What is the purpose of curtains? Well there are two. One is to block out the sun. during WWII, in America, citizens used them so that nazi soldiers couldn't see in when they were talking. The second reason is just for the pure looks of it.
