| Women in China wear something called a Hong Kong Sheath. A Hong Kong Sheath is silk worn with high heels and a purse.They also wear a ankle length silk robe and a haori. A haori is a Japanese black satin cloak embroidered in red, white, and gold, and they wear dark blue cotton jackets and breeches.
Men wear western soft felt jackets. They also wear a kimonos that have shorter sleeves than the women's kimonos. The children wear something called an Outer. An Outer is an under kimono in light colored printed cotton tied at the neck with a ribbon. |
