Racquetball
We love to play racquetball. It gives us lots of exercise. It takes a good deal of energy to play. Once you start playing it is hard to stop because it's so much fun!
This game was invented in the U.S.A. in the 1950's. Racquetball evolved from court handball.
How to play- Hit the ball against the wall. Then the opposing player must hit it back against the wall before it bounces twice. If you don't hit the ball against the wall before two bounces, the opposing player gets the point, but only if it was their serve. If it wasn't, then that person receives the serve. The ball must hit the wall on a fly. If it doesn't the other player either gets a point or the serve. You need 21 points to win. You must win by two.
Equipment- Required to wear eye goggles. Need a racket and a ball to play.
The ball is hollow and made from rubber. When dropped from 100 inches from the ground, it should bounce 70 inches in a temperature of 76 degrees F.
