Public School 56 Queens, NYC is the recipient of a New Visions Power Tech Grant funded by the New York LIfe Foundation.   The grant has enabled  us to purchase software and related materials used to develop the site.  Professional development was also funded by this grant to facilitate training related to software used by the students.

A special thank you to the New York Life Foundation for its support of technology and curriculum in the classroom to effect change.

The International Telementor Program (http://www.telementor.org) collaborated with the site designers to enhance learning styles through web based projects.  David Neils, ITP Director,   Zac Burson (ITP Staff),  Ed Vogel (mentor in NY), Evelyn Santiago (mentor in the Philippines), Madhuri.Mansukhani (mentor, NY), and Carol Millar (mentor, Boise, Idaho) have been partners in learning.
