Recipe for Fried Shrimp

This is a delicious food from Guyana. Here is the recipe for this great food.

You will need

2 pound bag of large shrimp, peeled and cleaned
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 small red pepper chopped
3 medium scallions chopped
1/3 cup of fresh cilantro
1 black pepper
1 red onion
Broccoli
Asparagus
Half of a lemon
Stove (not necessary)
A pot

Procedure

1. Wash the shrimp with warm water along with the lemon. Heat the oil in skillet until it's hot but not burning.

2. Add shrimp, black pepper, season salt, cornstarch and scallions to the skillet. Stir- fry over heat to be cooked for 3 to 5 minutes until the shrimp is tender and crisp. Reduce heat and add onion, cilantro, broccoli and asparagus. Stir and cover for 2 minutes until shrimps turn golden brown. Then serve hot and enjoy.
