Stir-fried bean threads with ground pork

This recipe is a common food in China. Stir-fried bean threads with ground pork looks like a mound with lines and green and red spots on it. It tastes like fried rice. It also smells like medium rare steak.

Ingredients

3 oz. Ground pork
2 pkg. of bean threads
2 teaspoon of green onions
1/2 teaspoon of gingerroot
1/2 teaspoon of hot bean paste
2 teaspoon of soysauce
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 c. water

Instructions

1. Soak the bean threads until soft. Once soft remove water and drain.
2. Heat the pan, then add 3 teaspoon of oil.
3. Stir-fry pork for 2 minutes.
4. Then add the 2-teaspoon of green onions, 1/2 teaspoon of gingerroot, 1/2 teaspoon of hot bean paste.
5. Next add 3 oz. Ground pork, 2 pkg. of bean threads, 2 teaspoon of soysauce, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 c. water.
6. Cook until liquid has evaporated.
7. 7. Remove and drain.
