XVII. Chicken and Mushrooms

Ingredients:
             1. one small whole chicken
              2. dry mushrooms
              3. 6 to 10 slivers of ginger root
              4. 4 tsp. of soy sauce
              5. 5 tsp. of vegetable oil
              6. 1 tsp. of sugar
              7. 1 tsp. of oyster sauce

Preparations:
                         1. soak dry mushrooms in water until soft, drain water from mushroom
                         2. wash and cut chicken into small pieces
                         3. dry wok

Procedure:
       1. Pour vegetable oil into wok
       2. Heat oil until hot, add ginger root slivers
       3. Add chicken slices and mushrooms, stir
       4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar
       5. Put lid on for 7 min. on high fire
       6. Turn off fire and let cool for 2 min.
       7. Serve
