Raymond- Hello, my name
is Raymond and I am eleven. I like to play sports, especially baseball
and soccer. I also know how to swim but don't practice very much. I like
this website because it shows others what the Chinese culture is like and
why many of us came to America. I'm good at math and using the computer.
I'm the only boy in the China part of the group and am not happy about
that.
Dawn- Ni Hao! That means Hi in Chinese. My name is Dawn I am eleven years old in fifth grade. I love to swim and I'm in a YMCA swim team. In my spare time I like to read books and have fun like everyone else. I participated in this website because I am Chinese but I live in New York. I wanted to let people see that I am proud of my culture always will be.
Harriet- I'm Harriet Li. I'm 11 years old and I'm in fifth grade. I'm good in math and art. I can also swim the crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. I participated to make this website because I think China should be more well known in this country because many Chinese people live here.
Ida- Hello! My name is Ida Li. I'm in fifth grade. I love to read in my spare time and also love to draw. I love to eat delicious candy. This entire group is from China. We decided to make this website so other people could learn about the people from China who live in America. I hope you like the website because I do.
Ida and I are celebrating Chinese New Year with our class. We shared Chinese stories and delicious candy.
