Teacher
Overview:Teaching can
be a great job if you like to interact with kids. You can be a teacher
in many different areas. Three of them are science, math, and arithmetic.
Teachers now get to have fun with props such as board games, computers,
and card games. In classes today kids are working in-groups to learn
how to discuss a problem and work together. Kids are also adapting to
new technology. The teachers have to find a way to teach kids this skill.
In today's society, teachers also have to be extremely creative, otherwise
the students could lose interest in that subject. If you happen
to be a Preschool teacher or elementary school teacher you are developing
the kids' life long learning skills.
Schooling: In most states
elementary teachers have to have a Bachelors Degree in education and
also a Masters Degree. Middle school and high school teachers have to
have their Bachelors Degree in the subject they teach and a Masters
in education.
Salary: Your earnings
might be the salary values listed below. A teacher who teaches in Pre-K
might earn a salary of $17,810. The lowest earnings for
a teacher that taught in kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school
was between $ 23,230 through $ 28, 460. The average salary that was
recorded by Occupational Outlook Handbook
was between $37, 610 through 42, 080. Of course, the more seniority
you have the more money you get and the higher you can go in that career.
Job Opportunities: One
of the most challenging teaching jobs is to be a Pre-K teacher. You
have to start to develop the child's life by having them play, learn
to share, and to socialize. In most
elementary schools a teacher has to teach a variety of subjects.
Most middle and high school teachers specialize in one subject and teach
a different group of kids at totally different times. Some of the subjects
may be English, Biology, Spanish, Mathematics, History and Biology.
