Interview
Questions for Dog Breeder - by Kyle
I interviewed a dog breeder named Mr.Bowen who works in upstate New York.
1. What kind of training
did you need before you became a dog breeder?
The most training
I had for breeding dogs is that I had a friend that bred yellow labs and sold
them for the love of the dogs. That is the main reason I got started in this
career.
2. How did you become
interested in this job?
I love to play
with the pups and there is good money to be made.
3. What do you do
on an average day of work?
The main thing
I do is take care of the dogs and their safety. Other animals try to get into
the pen. I once had a raccoon get in and eat the dog's food. Another task
is to give the dogs the attention they need.
4. What do you like
best about the job?
The best reward
is seeing the pups grow up and be happy. And also to see the faces of people
when they come to pick them up.
5. Do you specialize
in one particular breed or different breeds?
I only breed
chocolate labs.
6. Is there anything
else you would like to add?
If a person
buys a pup and doesn't want to breed them they should have them neutered.
