| In Afghanistan there are many different types of people. Pashtuns make up 38% of the population. They speak Pashtu and are Muslim. Some speak Dari. | |

Other kinds of people are Tajiks (25%), Uzbek (6%), Hazara (19%), and some other smaller groups of people like Turkmen, Nuristanis, Aimaqs, Baloch, and Charar. |
