Tutankhamen,
(TOOT-ahnk-AH-men) sometimes called King Tut for short, was
called the boy king of Egypt. He was born to Pharaoh
Akhenaten (AH-ken-AH-ten) and his minor wife Queen Kiya.
When Akhenaten died, Tut, age 9, married Ankhesenamen
(AHNK-eh-sen-ah-MEN) his half sister. One theory about
Tutankhamen's death is that the vizier, a man named Aye
(EYE), killed King Tut. When he was 19 or 20, King Tut
mysteriously died from a blow to the head, and Aye became
the next pharaoh.

King Tut also left behind a lot of treasures. Click on the entrance of the tomb to enter.
