By accepting others,
we'll become sisters and brothers.

By finding common ground,
peace will be found.

By putting yourself in other's shoes,
none of us will lose.

It starts with each one of you,
and spreads the whole world through.

Differences are GOOD!

Rainbow of Cultures

Accepting and understanding other cultures is something that everyone needs to learn.  This is especially true since the attacks in New York on September 11, 2001.  Did you know that some Arab-American kids were treated badly and bullied because they looked like the small number of terrorists behind the attack?  That's wrong!  Just because you look like someone doesn't mean you'll act like them.  If everyone looked and acted exactly the same, wouldn't the world be boring?  Think of the world as a giant pizza.  Without all the different veggies, cheeses, meats, and other toppings all you get is an unexciting, tasteless pizza crust.  But when you put them all together, you get something very interesting, yummy, and just plain good.  So take a bite out of our site and help us break down the walls between cultures.

Have fun exploring and  learning about other cultures!
