| I
went to a 3-day camp at the Louisiana Department of Education: Technology
Division. At the camp I learned how to use the software programs called
Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash 5, and Fireworks. I used Dreamweaver
to build the web pages, and used Fireworks to make all of the rollover
buttons on our site. I also made the flash movies that are in the
site. I built all of the web pages and made all of the links work.
I also used a program called photoshop to edit photographs. |

| It
has been my pleasure to work with the Extreme Team. They have been
diligent in their work since September, 2001. Team members spent time
during class, before and after school, during lunch breaks, and the
Easter Holiday in order to research and develop the Extremophile website.
This topic was difficult to research because information about extremophiles
was either very technical and because our experience with microbiology
was limited. Neither of these problems detered the students who were
hooked on the topic from the beginning. |
