Taxonomy
Microorganisms Taxonomy Habitat
Archaea

Taxonomy is the name given to the science of studying how living things are classified on the tree of life. There are five domains shown on the tree of life today, but scientists believe that extremeophiles are so different from other bacteria, viruses, and fungi that a sixth domain should be added. Once scientists have studied extremophiles and discovered enough about them, they will add the new domain, Archaea.
