States President George Bush is not in Washington, D.C. when the terrorist
attacks occured in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pensylvania. He speaks
with his staff back in the White House from a desk at
Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida. He was visiting with
school children there when the attacks happened. President Bush did not
fly directly back to Washington, D.C. He took a path that could not be predicted
by terrorists who might target his plane on the way. |
