Anti-Imperialist International Brigade The Japanese Red Army is an international terrorist group that formed in 1970 after they broke away from the Japanese Communist League-Red Army Faction. Fusako Shigenobuled the JRA until she was arrested in November 2000 in Japan. 1972 The JRA has an unknown number of sympathizers and about six hard-core members.

JRA operative Yu Kikumura was arrested in April with explosives on the New Jersey Turnpike and is serving a lengthy prison sentence in the United States.

Tsutomu Shirosaki was captured by the the United States and is in jail.  
2000  
Shigenobu was a longtime leader who was arrested and faces charges of passport fraud and terrorism.

Their location is unknown, but they are possibly traveling through Asia or Syrian which are controlled areas of Lebanon.
