In the 1940's B-17's were being built. The Boeing company made the bombers at a rapid pace. The Boeing factories were camouflaged and looked like it was a suburb. The American men were at war so women had to make planes. Thousands of women got together and built planes. "Rosie the Riveter" got them all to build 60 B-17's in one month, that was the rate in 1942. They built 362 planes in one month in the year 1944. One time they rolled out 16 planes in 24 hours.
