The big almighty lion created the beautiful Narnia. He rarely ever comes to Narnia, but when he does come all spells are broken. In this spectacular book he saves the creatures that are turned to stone by the evil and mean White Witch. According to the prophecy any traitor must be killed by the witch on the Stone Table. But instead of Edmund being killed, Aslan took his place. Just as Jesus Christ died for our sins. Also like Jesus he didn't stay dead but he rose again! He defeats the evil and he kills the White Witch when he jumps on her. No evil can stand against the high and mighty lion! |

Peter He is the oldest child. Because he is the oldest child he gets to be high king all over Narnia. The gifts that he got from Father Christmas are a shield and sword. When he hears the horn blown by Susan he immediately comes to the rescue. He finds Susan up on the tree and is just about to faint. Then he fights and slaughters the evil Maugrim who is the Captain of the Secret Police. But basically he is just a regular and normal kid. |

Susan She is the second oldest. She stops the arguments between Edmund and Peter. The useful gifts she received were a horn, and a bow and arrow. She is very mature and watches over her younger sister and brother. In the book she and Lucy both saw Aslan being killed at the Stone Table. She used her horn and blew into it so that Aslan and Peter would know that there is trouble and she was going to faint when Maugrim came and chased her up on a tree. But when she grows up she is a beautiful young lady. |

He is just so spiteful! He teases Lucy because of what she said about the wardrobe. Later himself gets into Narnia through the wardrobe while following Lucy when his brother and sisters were playing hide and seek. He meets the evil White Witch and is placed under her spell by eating Turkish Delight and drinking the special drink she gave him. The witch tricks him so that he could betray his brother and sisters and so that the prophecy would not be fulfilled. But as he grew up he became a king of just. |

Lucy She is the youngest child. She is the first one to discover the wardrobe. She is always teased by Edmund. For her gifts she received a cordial and a dagger for defense. After the battle she heals many creatures including Edmund with her special cordial. She grows up to be a beautiful lady and becomes a queen that everyone loves. |

The White Witch
Which cruel, dangerous, and wicked giantess has taken control of the wonderful land of Narnia? This could only be the work of the cruel White Witch. This villain entered the land of Narnia clinging to Polly and Digory and was the first evil in the newly-made land that Aslan sung into creation. In this book the White Witch is in control and has burdened the land with eternal winter, and no Christmas! She has magic in her and when she is angry she quick-temperedly turns beings into stone. When Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy enter winter-stricken Narnia she immediately goes bezerk, because it has been said that if two sons of Adam, and two daughters of Eve are to sit on the thrones at Cair Paravel her power will be ended. She immediately sets to work to kill and harm them. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are hiding for their lives! |

Mr. Tumnus
When Lucy innocently enters the Land of Narnia,
she is met by the two-faced faun named Mr. Tumnus. He appears nice and
Lucy willingly follows him into his cave. Little does she know that he
is a kidnapper for the dangerous White Witch, Queen of Narnia. He has
been assigned to kidnap all Daughters of Eve and Sons of Adam, so the
queen's power can never be taken from her. He plays his flute and Lucy
begins to drift off but awakes with a start. She tells Mr. Tumnus that
she must leave, but he lets the story out and Lucy is immediately afraid
of being turned over to the queen. Tears fall freely from her eyes and
Mr. Tumnus melts, and lets her go free but warns her of the danger. The
queen eventually finds out and he is arrested and turned to stone in her
palace courtyard! |

Maugrim the Wolf
Who is the captain of the White Witch's secret police? None other than the ferocious Maugrim. He leads his swiftest wolves down to the beaver's dam to capture the children, but luckily they have left earlier. He returns to the queen, but later in the story he is slaughtered by Peter, the eldest son. |

Father Christmas
The jolly old man with a stomach like a bowl
full of jelly brings hope to the children on their escape. They feel relieved
because they know that the queen's power is weakening because Christmas
has arrived. He knows of the children's journey to meet Aslan, and the
events to follow and he equips them with weapons for the things to come.
He presents valiant Peter with a sword and shield, and sympathetic Lucy
with a cordial that brings healing and a dagger for protection. To sharp
Susan he gave a bow, arrow, and a horn heard from miles off. Edmund had
ran away to the queen and was not there at Father Christmas' visit. For
the beavers he promised to repair their dam, and She-Beaver was armed
with a new sewing machine. The travelers were weary and he gave them breakfast
before he went on to bring good cheer to others. |

He- Beaver He finds the four children at Mr. Tumnus' cave and he leads them to his dam. Mr. Beaver also tells the prophecies of the four thrones and Cair Paravel.

She-Beaver She is a busybody. When they get ready to leave she keeps on thinking of more things to pack and everyone gets so frustrated. She even thought of bringing her sewing machine. |

Dwarf He is the White Witch's sled driver. He cracks his whip at Edmund when he goes to the witch's house and betrays his friends and family. |
