Thank You Mr. Falker

    A girl named Trisha entered kindergarten hoping to learn how to read.  In kindergarten children learned how to read before her.  When she tried to read she could not so she just drew. When she entered the 1^st grade she still could not read. Then her teacher gave her a class book called Our Neighborhood. When all the kids moved up a level in reading she stayed on Our Neighborhood.   In the second grade, she still could not read. Her family had to move to California. In the third grade the kids called her “dumb” and “stupid.”  In 5^th grade she got a teacher named Mr. Falker. She did not know it but he would help her a lot.
