Around the World!

Welcome to the site where

11 and 12 year old students share their world!

This site was created to help 11 and 12 year-old students around the world learn about each other. We hope that your visit to our site will help you understand how other students around the world live, what kinds of things they learn in school, what schools around the world are like, what students do for fun, and more about their customs and traditions.

Our site has three main parts in addition to this introduction page. The "map page" lets you can click on a star on the world map, which will take you to the "information page" about the student who lives there. The third part is a "registration form" so students around the world can take part in the project.

If you do not speak English, try one of the languages below! If your language is missing, you and your teacher may translate the English version of the pages, email the translation to us at lundd@suu.edu, and we will create a version of the site in your language.

Note: If the language is highlighted in blue, you can look at a version of the website in that language; otherwise, we are still working at making a translated website. German, Russian, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean translations courtesy of the Altavista Company's computer translation service, Babel Fish. Since computer translations are not totally accurate, if you find mistakes in grammar or spelling, please email us at lundd@suu.edu and we will correct the problem.
