Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States. He graduated from Whittier College. He was president from 1969 to 1974. He resigned right before he was impeached in 1974, which was his first year, second four-year term as president.  He was born Thursday, January 9, 1913 and died Friday, April 22, 1994.Nixon was president during the Watergate. The Watergate was when burglars were trying to copy documents and it turned out that Nixon was involved in hiding what the were doing.  Richard Nixon ended up resigning.
