The Innovative Inventions team came together every Thursday after school for an hour or an hour and half to work on our website. We assigned jobs for the team; Kristin was Editor in Chief and Assistant Art Director, Jordan was our Main Art Director, Mikey and Peter were Technology and Writing Directors while Justin does al lirttlebit of each. We all share the love for designing web pages and this is our third year together, making us a great team. We started at the beginning of the school year, October 1, using our new programs, Macromedia Dreamweaver4, Hot Potatoes, and Adobe Photoshop. We used Dreamweaver for writing and making a layout for all of our pages, Hot Potatoes for games such as hangman, a quiz, and a croosword puzzle. We also used Adobe Photoshop for headlines and titles. We chose our topic of inventions by a group consensus. It took us about three whole weeks to get our idea and once we got it we began research, printing hundreds of pages and highlighting what was important. Next, we started the writing. A long and tedious process that had us all frustrated. After, we linked all of the pages together. Next we drew our pictures and revised some of our pages. Through laughter, seriousness, and frustration the Innovative Inventions group has pulled together and made a great site. |
