Roller coasters are really safe.  They’re about the safest things at a park except  a baby ride where you spin at 1 mph and you're  strapped in a huge harness. 

  Roller coasters have been people's favorite rides at parks for many years, but remember people have to rely on the safety.  Safety is the most important thing about roller coasters.  If you don’t feel good or you have a problem don’t ride it!  Roller coasters are attached to a track on usually 3 sides of track or sometimes four.  Roller coasters aren’t like cars because cars aren’t inspected every day unlike roller coasters so don’t worry!  And this really will make you relaxed: only one person in 250 million people dies on a coaster.  Isn’t that amazing?
