Many people can identify what a witch and a wizard is, but most cannot describe a warlock. Warlocks are creatures with evil powers and use them to cast spells on their enemies for fun, and to disrupt other peoples lives.  Or more often, they are males while witches are females.

          Although they love pulling tricks, their enjoyment is in successfully pulling off the spell and seeing the disrupted person, and not that the world knows they are great pranksters. They are great pranksters though, because it is impossible to avoid a warlock or his spells. Unless the idea of living in a cave sounds fine, there is no way to avoid a warlock. But because they rarely go into public, not much is written about these powerful, deadly humans.
