Some actors/actresses do not like doing auditions. Mr. Biggers, however, enjoys auditions almost more than the actual acting. He said you did not actually have to memorize the audition part, but that it would be good if you did. And, if you get the part, you can decide if you want it or not. If you don't, the director will choose another person who auditioned for the part. Usually many people audition for a part, so there is no problem getting a back-up.
