Once upon a time there was a girl named Beth. Beth had a little brother named Matt. She was very nice and she loved going to the mall. She had a lot of friends, too. Usually she went to the mall every Friday with her friends. One Thursday night her mom had a call. The call was about work. Her mom said that she had to go to a special dinner and that Beth had to babysit Matt. Beth was really mad because she coulden't go to the mall like she always did. She went to bed after her mom said that she was really sorry and she would make it up to her sometime.
The night came when Beth had to baby-sit Matt. When her parents left she had an idea. She said she was going to leave her little brother home while she went to the mall. He was only 5 years old.
When Beth left, her brother started crying because he was scared. She didn't really listen to him and went to the mall anyway. Beth's mom came home and found out that she was at the mall. Her mom went to the mall and picked her up. Then beth got into so much trouble! She got grounded for 2 months and couldn't go to the mall! She finally realized not to ever do that again because missing one night is better than missing two months worth of Fridays at the mall. They all lived happily ever after.
Beth Learned that she should always keep an eye on the person she's baby sitting, even if it is just her own brother.
