ABOUT US
We are all third graders at Midland Academy. Our teacher, Mrs. Carlisle, went to training for ThinkQuest. When she got back, she asked us if any of us wanted to participate. Nine of us wanted to, so she let us all join the first ThinkQuest Team at Midland Academy. We have worked hard on our site and have had fun doing it. We have all learned so much!
My name is Chelsea. I am in the third grade. I have one brother and his name is Charles, but we call him Chucky. I am involved in many activities such as dance, tumbling, and piano. I am also a third year Brownie Girl Scout. Some of my hobbies are swimming, playing board games (especially Scattergories) and reading. Some sports that I have played are softball and soccer.
My name is Cody. I am nine years old. I like reading books. I like playing with my friends. On rainy days, I like to do jigsaw puzzles. Sometimes I get on my skate board. Most of the time I ride my bike. I really like playing baseball. I sign up every season.
My name is Meagan. I am eight years old and in the third grade. I will be nine years old on April 3. My hobby is collecting rocks. My favorite subject is Art. I enjoy acting at the Springer Theatre Academy. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 hamster, 1 hermit crab, and 8 fish at my house.
My name is Jason. I was born in San Francisco. I've also lived in Maryland. I like to play basketball and video games. I like the snow a lot, too. My favorite cartoon is Spongebob. I like Chinese food and pizza. My favorite thing to read is Captain Underpants book series.

You have to keep your eyes on the ball when playing softball. It is easy to play. My favorite sport is basketball. I like it because I can do tricks and jumps with the ball.

My favorite subject in school is math. I wanted to do ThinkQuest the minute I heard about it. I wanted to do it because I like to try different things. Being apart of ThinkQuest is really cool and fun. I am glad I did it. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Carlisle. I admire her a lot. My favorite movie is Crossroads. I have seen it over 5 times. Hi! My name is Jessie. My hobby is reading. I like the color blue and I really like horses. I don't play sports on a team, but I play basketball, football and soccer for fun. One day I would love to visit Australia. My favorite subject in school is art because it is fun and I am good at it.
