Research Results

We conducted an informal research study by randomly selecting students and parents to survey about the issue. According to research, students prefer to have a dress code rather than school uniforms. Parents also agreed that school uniforms shouldn’t be required in the our school district. Again the majority of parents don’t agree that school uniforms improve academic achievement. Most of the students would not like to have school uniforms. Parents only feel strongly about school uniforms, in the case that it makes their lives easier as parents to pick out their children’s clothing. In other cases, parents do not agree that the school district should adopt a school uniform policy. Overall, both parents and students disagree with the idea of school uniforms in our town. Look at the graphs below to see how the data worked out from our survey.
