Conclusions

In the beginning of our research some of the group members said yes to school uniforms. At that time, we thought that it improves academic achievement and relived peer pressure but at the end of our research they changed their minds.

Our group thinks we should not wear uniforms because of personal experiences and some of our research. For example, we sampled students, parents, and staff/teachers. Of the students we found that 44% said no, 42% said maybe, and 14% said yes that school uniforms improve academic achievement. Many adults and children were concerned about school uniforms taking students freedom of expression away.

In the future students would like to compare grades and research records from students in schools with school uniforms and schools with just a dress codes. It would be interesting to discover the differences that exist between these schools. We definitely uncovered a bit of a mystery that students in our district would find uniforms Torture!!!

If we could make school uniform policy we would say that dress codes should be in place and school uniforms should be used as a last resort.
