Greetings from New York! Hi, my name is Sophie and I'm 11 years old. My favorite subject in school is English because we read lots of great books and write poetry. I love writing so it's no surprise I want to be a writer when I grow up. I really love sports too because it's so active and I love doing challenging things like that. I think my favorite sports are probably swimming and tennis. They require a lot of concentration while playing.

In school I'm learning the Spanish language and it's lots of fun although sometimes very hard. It's my first year, but already I have a lot of friends in and out of school who like most of the same things I like. We have a lot of fun together. They always help me when I don't understand something, or if I want to quit and they don't let me. I think I have the best friends in the world.Three of them worked with me to make this website.
