Famous People

Robert E. Peary was an American Arctic explorer.  He became famous for his exploration of the North Pole.  He was born in Pennsylvania in 1856.  He graduated from Bowdin College.

Robert Morris was one of six people to sign the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.  He was a merchant and a banker.  He was born in England, but he became one of the wealthiest people in the American colonies.
