    Glacier National Park is in northwestern Montana.  It has more than 50 glaciers that lie on the mountain slopes.  Many of its rugged peaks have never been climbed.

    Yellowstone National Park is in northwestern Wyoming, but many of its park entrances are in Montana.  These entrances are near Cooke City, Gadiner, and West Yellowstone.

    Giant Springs near Great Falls discharges 270,000 gallons per minute. The spring was sighted by Lewis and Clark in 1801.
