Agriculture

Kansas leads the states in growing wheat. It produces about 165 million bushels of wheat a year, more than a sixth of the total crop grown in the United States. Farmers in Kansas do not grow only wheat.  They also grow corn, alfalfa, barley, oats, soybeans, and rye.
