Martin Luther King, Jr., was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was an African-American Baptist Minister. Martin was a Civil Rights Leader who did not pay attention to black/white separation laws. He headed the SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference).
Juliette Gordon Low was born in Savannah, Georgia. She founded the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. Mrs. Low was president of the “Scouts”. She was also a very talented sculptor.
