He explored the southwest to get information about the land and resources. His goal included a secret survey of the Spanish settlements in New Mexico. Pike was born in Lamberton, New Jersey.
Tim Allen is a famous actor. He was born in Denver on June 13, 1953. His full name is Timothy Allen Dick. His father died in a collision with a drunk driver while driving Tim and his family home from a Colorado State University game.
Horace Greeley was a prominent Amnion newspaper publisher. He founded and edited The New York Tribune. He was a leader in the antislavery movement, and his editorials played a very important part in molding public opinions. His writings and comments were often quoted.
