Arizona has a nickname, "Grand Canyon State."
Arizona's state mammal is the ring tale.
The largest city and the state capital is Phoenix. Arizona became a state on February 14, 1912.

Arizona's leading products are:
Primary Metals $56,000,000
Transportation Equipment $51,000,000
     Processed Food $41,000,000

     Cotton $167,000,000

     Cattle $71,000,000

     Vegetables $48,000,000

     Copper $245,000,000

Grand Canyon National Park is the hottest park in the whole state because of its steep sides.  It is a deep hole and dry ground.

This is a map of Arizona that I drew to show Arizona's facts and symbols.   Newspaper Rock found in Petrified Forest National Park has markings that have never been translated.

Arizona ranks sixth among all states, and third among Southwestern states. Arizona has three main land regions: the Colorado Plateau, the Transition Zone, and the Basin and Range Regions. The bordering states are California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. The state song is "Arizona".
